Songbird Coffee

Songbird Coffee

Song Bird Coffee is the result of a joint venture between the American Birding Association (ABA) and Thanksgiving Coffee Company. Fifteen cents from each package are donated to the ABA.

The nonprofit American Birding Association promotes the health and safety of bird populations. Thanksgiving Coffee Company has been a socially and environmentally aware coffee producer for over 34 years. Convinced of Thanksgiving's pioneering and time-tested values, the ABA approached the company to be its partner in the Song Bird project.

Birders' Exhange

Birders' Exchange is an equipment reuse program that benefits bird conservation. It is a joint project of the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences and the American Birding Association. Birders' Exchange aims to assist in the conservation of neotropical migrant and resident birds by filling a need for basic equipment and tools in Latin America and the Caribbean. This effort is also part of our work in Partners in Flight, designed to address bird conservation needs across the Americas.

Partners in Flight

Partners In Flight

Partners In Flight / Compañeros en Vuelo / Partenaires d’Envol was launched in 1990 in response to growing concerns about declines in the populations of many land bird species, and in order to emphasize the conservation of birds not covered by existing conservation initiatives. The initial focus was on species that breed in the Nearctic (North America) and winter in the Neotropics (Central and South America), but the focus has spread to include most landbirds and other species requiring terrestrial habitats.
